Autism Awareness Day was ten days ago. In order to promote the cause and to raise awareness about autism Barnes & Noble partnered with Autism Speaks to host special Storytimes at over 500 stores throughout the US last year. Maria and Ben Vereen read “Since We’re Friends: An Autism Picture Book,” by Celeste Shally and David Harrington to kids and their parents in Los Angeles.
